Liorit Frank-Kremer
I am a registered nurse (RN) from Israel and also licensed to practice as a RN in NY State. My husband and I relocated to NYC in 2008 and since then I've been certified as a lactation counselor (CLC) and a childbirth educator (CBEd) with Childbirth International.
Before we moved I worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Sheba Medical Center where I also completed my advanced clinical studies towards my RN certification and BA diploma in Nursing. During my work experience in the NICU I developed many skills which include taking care of premature newborns but also full term newborns that require special medical attention (such as newborns with genetic disorders, heart defects, respiratory problems etc.)

In the NICU the priority is not only to take care of the newborns but also their families. This is where I initially got experienced in supporting and counseling mothers and their breastfeeding needs. Professionally, my ultimate goal is to become a certified nurse midwife (CNM), so that I could be there and support women and their partners in one of the most beautiful experiences of their lives, the birth of their child/ren. It doesn't end there though, because the postpartum period is as important as a healthy pregnancy and an uncomplicated labor and birth. My passion for this profession pushes me forward and makes me want to be a knowledgeable birth professional, so that I can be the best supporter and resource for all my clients.
Since April 2010 I am also the proud mother of a beautiful girl named Natalie. Giving birth to my baby girl has only made me even more certain that I have chosen the right profession.
I hope that I can be there for you in the future. If you would like to receive more information and/or schedule a free meeting with me please contact me through this website or by phone : 347-560-9130.
